Will this drain my battery?
No. Tremble uses 2.4GHz Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) optimized for background proximity. Battery impact is typically under 2% per hour.
Is my location tracked?
Never. Proximity is calculated on-device and instantly discarded. We don't build location histories. Architecture, not policy.
How do I know the other person is real?
Physical presence eliminates bots and fake profiles. If a profile appears on your radar, their phone is physically near your location.
Who can see my profile?
Nearby potential matches see your first name and age when in range, so they can decide whether to wave. Your photo and full profile remain hidden, and your exact location is never shared. Only after a mutual wave is the full profile revealed and a match confirmed.
When can I download it?
Launching 2026We are currently in private beta across European cities. Public launch is set for 2026. Join the waitlist for early access.
Does it work in my pocket?
Yes. Our hybrid radar engine combines signal proximity and orientation to detect someone near you, even if your phone is in your pocket or bag.
Is the app free?
Yes. All core features required to meet people in real life are free. We will offer optional premium features later for a small, transparent fee (€3.99) for those who want more out of their radar.
